Ethiopia has had more time than any other country to figure out the best techniques to produce a tastier coffee than anybody else. This medium roast, G1 rated blend is the perfect example of great Ethiopian coffee, hand picked and naturally dried under the sun. This type of coffee is delicious no matter how you make it, but it is particularly recommended to enjoy filtered, either in pour over or with the classic French press.
Consisting of high quality beans with a complex mixture of flavors, we enjoy hints of berries, honey, and chocolate. Coffee brewed with these beans is extraordinarily smooth and has pleasant acidity much like that of red wine. It is the ideal coffee to enjoy black, no milk, possibly sugar. The medium roast ensures a bold, full flavor that isn’t yet strong enough to merit cream and sugar.
This is specialty grade coffee with a score of 85+ points putting it in the range of Excellent. This puts it in the top 5-7% of coffee in the world.
